Pre-Developmental Academy U6-U12

Our Pre-Developmental Academy is designed for players ages U6 to U12 who are ready to grow their passion for soccer in a fun, structured, and development-focused environment. This program serves as the foundation for long-term success, emphasizing the joy of the game while building the technical skills and early tactical understanding that players need as they advance.
Led by experienced and passionate coaches, players will improve their ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, and small-sided decision-making—all while developing confidence and teamwork. Training sessions are age-appropriate, high-energy, and designed to keep kids engaged and constantly learning.

U6-U8 Age Group
Our U6–U8 Program (formally called Mini Kicks) is the perfect next step for young players who are ready to transition from recreational soccer to a more competitive and structured environment. Designed as a link between our popular Rec League and our Competitive Academy, this program offers a higher level of training and play—led by North Star FC’s experienced, paid coaching staff.
Players train twice a week during the spring/summer and fall sessions, with fun and competitive in-house games every Friday—no travel required. In the winter, players practice once a week and participate in Saturday games indoors, keeping them active and engaged year-round.
The Program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and introducing foundational tactics in a fun, supportive setting. Families have the flexibility to register for one or more seasonal sessions based on their schedule and readiness.
Whether your child is showing advanced potential or simply loves the game, this program is a great way to take the next step in their soccer journey.

U6- players born in 2019
U7- players born in 2018
U8- players born in 2017
Location- Withers Soccer Complex
Training Schedule:
- 2x per week (M/W or T/Th)
- Sessions 530pm-630pm or 6:30-7:30pm
- U6-8 Girls M/W - 530-630pm
- U6-8 Girls T/TH - 530-630pm
- U6-8 Girls T/TH - 630-730pm

Registration Information
$625 for U9/U10 players
$675 for U11 - U18 players
Cost include the following expenses:

Financial aid is available. Please complete the fin aid document during the registration.
Please select the "payment plan option" when registering.
There will be an initial $60 payment when you register, and then the remaining amount will be spread out over 7 months- November-May.
Payments will come out on the 1st of each month.

No friend or coach requests are allowed at the competitive level.

If you are attending tryouts or wish to be considered for the top team in the age group you MUST register by Registration Deadline is July X, 2025!

If you are not attending tryouts and do not wish to be considered for the top team in the age group, the deadline is October 31st, 2025.

U9/U10 do not have tryouts, therefore the deadline to sign up for these age groups will be October 31st, 2025.

There is NO separate registration for tryouts, players simply need to register the for the 2025 Competitive Season.
