Fall Developmental Academy Program U9-U12
The North Star FC Developmental Academy offers a competitive, growth-focused environment for players ages U9 to U12 who are committed to improving their skills and competing at a high level. This program serves as the tier just below our Academy level and provides excellent training and competition for developing players.
Each age group typically features 1-2 teams, allowing us to place players in the best environment for their growth and playing experience. Our Developmental Academy teams compete in strong local leagues, including the Southeast Minnesota Soccer League (SMSL), Minnesota Academy League, and the Metro Alliance League.
Players receive high-quality coaching, structured team training sessions. The focus is on continued technical improvement, tactical understanding, and preparing players for future opportunities within the club or beyond.
Whether you’re aiming to move into the Academy program or simply want a strong soccer experience with balanced commitment, the Developmental Academy is a great fit.

Practice Nights- Tuesday / Thursday
Location- Todd Park
Typical practice time is 530-7pm. This time can be adjusted by the coach, and it also will be adjusted later in the season due to daylight.
Uniforms
Fall 2026 we will be moving into a new uniform cycle. This uniform cycle will be good for 2 years.
All players will need to purchase a new uniform kit.
